Fashion designer Stella McCartney has re-launched her first fragrance, Stella – in an updated bottle, and a sexy new ad campaign.

The ad stars Dutch supermodel Lara Stone, and was shot in London by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.

Stella first launched in 2003, by YSL Beauté – now,Procter & Gamble Prestige is its licensee. The fragrance is the same – Perfumer Jacques Cavallier created the original, with notes that include rose essence, peony flower and mandarin essence with rose absolute, plus a woody, amber base.

The deep purple bottle now has a gold collar instead of silver, and a purple outer carton instead of white, which is embossed with gold polka dots.

The fragrance has launched at Harrods’s in the UK, where it will be sold exclusively through August 1st, before rolling out to other retailers worldwide.
